Grafa started on a Southland earthworks site, with a pile of crumpled day sheets and a Friday-night argument about machine hours. We thought there had to be a better way. So we built one.
Every earthworks outfit runs on machine hours, yet most still capture them on paper that gets rained on, left in a ute, or totalled wrong at the end of the month. Subbies running four tractors and a couple of diggers had no clean way to submit, and contractors had no clean way to check.
Grafa fixes the messy bit in the middle. Operators log straight off the hour meter, sheets roll up under each subcontractor's company, and approvals happen the same day, while everyone still remembers what ran where.
No hardware, no training day, no clipboard. Just the hours, captured and totalled, ready for payroll.
